THE LOCAL HOUR

Come with a question.
Leave with a connection.

An informal weekly online gathering that makes it easy to plug into Living Local 413 and the Western Massachusetts business community.

Every Monday • 6:00–7:00 PM • Online via Zoom

First event: Monday, October 5

WHAT TO EXPECT

An open hour. No complicated agenda.

You do not need to prepare anything before joining The Local Hour. Bring a question, an idea, something you are working on, or simply come listen.

The conversation is shaped by the people who show up. One week may be about finding a resource. Another may lead to an introduction, a partnership, a new idea, or a better understanding of what is happening across Western Massachusetts.

Come for the whole hour, or drop in when you can.

01Ask a questionWhat would you like to know?
02Share an ideaWhat are you thinking about?
03Bring a needWhat would help you move forward?
04Make a connectionWho should you meet?

WHY JOIN?

What can happen in an hour?

Sometimes it is a quick answer. Sometimes it is the right introduction. Sometimes it is simply knowing where to go next.

ANSWERS

Ask what’s on your mind.

Questions about Living Local 413, programs, resources, opportunities, or the Western Massachusetts business community are all welcome.

CONNECTIONS

Meet people you should know.

Discover businesses, organizations, resources, and people who may be able to help move an idea or need forward.

NEXT STEPS

Leave with somewhere to go.

Sometimes the most useful outcome is a resource, an introduction, or simply knowing the next door to knock on.

BRING WHAT YOU HAVE

Come with something. Leave with something.

The Local Hour works best when people bring real questions, ideas, needs, and opportunities into the room.

YOUR HOST

Hosted by Bill Cole.

Bill Cole is the founder and president of Living Local 413. The Local Hour grew out of the many one-on-one conversations he has with business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, community partners, and people who simply want to understand how they can plug into the work.

Rather than trying to fit every conversation into a separate meeting, The Local Hour creates one open place each week to ask questions, share ideas, make introductions, and help people find their next step.

There is no presentation to sit through. The goal is conversation, connection, and useful next steps.

One conversation can lead somewhere.

The Local Hour is a front door into Living Local 413. A question about a program can become a resource. An idea can become an introduction. A need can become a collaboration.

You do not need to be a Living Local 413 member to join.

Join us this Monday.
