Living Local 413 is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that empowers local businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals, and civic leaders across Western Massachusetts — through regional connection, local action, and hybrid programs designed to make our communities thrive.
Why We Exist
Western Massachusetts is full of promise — but we’re facing deep, interconnected challenges:
- Unsustainable Towns & Cities – Outdated systems that can’t support long-term growth
- Dying Downtowns – Main streets are losing their vibrancy and foot traffic
- Lack of Housing – Especially workforce and mid-range options
- Siloed Efforts – So many people working hard, but often working alone
- Youth Leaving – Our next generation is moving away for opportunity

As a young professional who chose to stay in Western Mass to live and work, I’m acutely aware of the challenges our region faces. Living Local 413 is recognizing those challenges and mobilizing to face them.
